We are thrilled to announce that goalie Chris Zegarra has been selected as the first goalie in the NCDC 2024 draft. Chris was drafted by the Rock Springs Grizzlies. This draft, held on Monday, May 13, 2024, showcased the next wave of elite talent in the National Collegiate Development Conference.
Chris has shown tremendous growth since we've known him. He has faced various challenges and trials over the past few years. We have worked tirelessly to assist him in structuring himself, developing a work ethic, and fostering the right attitude.
He has always been the first to lend a hand to younger goalies, pushing them to excel. His potential has consistently inspired us as coaches to push ourselves further and help him reach his full potential.
We are incredibly proud of him and will continue to work closely with him to prepare for the upcoming training camp, including utilizing the Perfo8 camp this summer to ensure he is ready.
