We are proud to have worked with Samuel St-Hilaire as part of our role as goaltending coaches with the Sherbrooke Phoenix this season. The native of Saint-Elzéar is a finalist for the inaugural Patrick Roy Trophy, awarded to the top goaltender in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Despite injuries, he excelled in the 36 games he played, posting a record of 18-12-1, a save percentage of .915 (4th), a goals-against average of 2.41 (3rd), and five shutouts (3rd). He also proudly represented Canada at the last World Junior Hockey Championship.

Additionally, congratulations to Gilles Bouchard, the head coach at the Phoenix and colleague of our coach Olivier Gervais, who is nominated for Coach of the Year. After five seasons as an assistant coach with the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL, Bouchard and his staff led the Sherbrooke Phoenix to fourth place in the Western Conference with a record of 32-30-1-5, totaling 70 points.
